Fred Pucci General Counsel

Fred Pucci is an experienced lawyer and specialist regulatory risk manager, focusing on the oversight of financial markets activities and related supervision, processes, and training. Most recently, Fred was the Head of Compliance for the Global Markets and the International & Institutional Banking division of ANZ Bank. Based in Hong Kong and Sydney, he led teams of compliance, surveillance and operational risk professionals in the major trading centres globally, including London and New York. Formerly a partner at Ashurst in Sydney, specialising in capital markets, Fred also served as the Head of Legal & Policy in the Market Supervision department of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission and as the Head of Legal in the Trading department of the Australian Stock Exchange. Earlier in his career, Fred worked in group treasury, trading and origination/distribution roles at Deutsche Bank, Nomura and Westpac. Fred trained as a solicitor at Norton Rose in Sydney, completed a Master of Laws degree at Georgetown University in Washington DC and is an Economics/Law graduate from the University of Sydney.
